We always enjoy success at The London Schools Cross Country Championships but this year our boys have as a whole squad have particularly excelled. While amber measures preventing us from taking our Year 7 team and thus the overall London title, all the categories we did enter, we came out both team winners and with the individual gold medals. Alex Wilson (year 9) won the Junior Boy's race, Christo Chilton (year 11) won the Intermediate Boy's race, and Jacob Taylor (year 12) won the Senior Boy's race.
In addition, we enjoy a record number of DC athletes selected for the London team to compete in The English School's Cross-Country Championships in Kent on Saturday 12th March. Until now the maximum number of selections achieved was five boys. This year we have the following eight athletes competing for London.
London Junior Boy's Team - Alex Wilson, Warren Wilson, Kiran Slatter
London Intermediate Boy's Team - Christo Chilton, Oscar Kinirons
Senior London Boy's Team - Jacob Taylor, Finbar Percy, Joe English
