Match Report
Dulwich College U14 vs  City of London School
On: Tuesday, 27 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

Dulwich started a busy pre-Christmas schedule on the road, hungry for revenge against a City of London team that had dealt out a heavy defeat in only DC's second game of the year.

Dulwich struggled to adapt to CoL's home court early on, as multiple turnovers blighted their first quarter efforts. CoL meanwhile, repeatedly snared second-chance points and lived at the rim, building a solid lead. A steady diet of points from Ethan Gao, however, kept DC in the game, and the home team within reach at the half.

DC buckled down in the second half, at times playing some terrific basketball. As the visitors turned up the defensive intensity, they found that points on the other end also came more easily, with guards Vincequerra, Mulley, and Racana all profiting from fast-break opportunities.

In the end though, despite their efforts, DC couldn't rein in CoL, who executed magnificently down the stretch. Next up will be the LPESSN tournament at home - an excellent opportunity for DC to bag that first W.
