Match Report
Dulwich College U14C vs  St John's School, Leatherhead
On: Saturday, 19 Jan 2019
Venue: Away

Dulwich dominated possession and showed attacking intent from the first whistle to the last in a very accomplished away display at St Johns Leatherhead. Dulwich spent much of the first half on the ball and were consistently finding holes in the St Johns defence, however a reluctance to pull the trigger in front of goal lead to it still being goalless after 15 minutes. Eventually Dulwich were rewarded for their dominance when Bear Cooke poked home from a corner. The second half was almost a carbon copy of the first. Some fantastic work down the wings lead to plenty of opportunities which weren’t quite converted. Another goal for Bear Cooke from a corner, his third in two games, helped settle any nerves. Dulwich hit the post with a late penalty which would have made the score-line a better reflection on the performance. Overall a fantastic display but some work on finishing on the training ground is definitely required.
