Match Report
Dulwich College U14B vs  Whitgift School
On: Saturday, 17 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

The U14 B's slow start ultimately cost them in a game that saw them grow with confidence and push Whitgift right to the wire. The slow start saw Whitgift score 2 tries as Dulwich clearly hadn't got themselves off the bus. A moment of magice from Arinze saw Dulwich grab a foothold in the game and give them some belief. The remaining 10 minutes before half time was all Dulwich. It was a shame that they couldn't quite get over the line and Whitgift scored a break away try to pull 19-7 clear. They was no way that Dulwich were going to give up though and a score from Will Tharian brought Dulwich to within a score. The boys were then held up over the line 5 times before Whitgift scored with an opportune moment from a tap penalty. Again Dulwich cam back at Whitgift with a score from Owen Sibbert to leave the score 31-19 at the finish. The boys must start top believe in themselves more and Tonbridge next week will be a tough test, but is one that the boys can win if they front up from the start.
