Match Report
Dulwich College U14B vs  Wellington College
On: Saturday, 08 Sep 2018
Venue: Away

After a slow start, the U14 B’s showed a huge amount of promise as they battled hard to keep an excellent Wellington side at bay. Conceding two early tries meant that they were always on the back foot but once the boys began to get organised and their second wind, they created a number of chances and went into half time in the ascendancy despite being 17-0 down. The second half saw both sides struggle to keep hold of the ball as defences got on top and both sides slowed opposition ball with some excellent counter rucking. Dulwich then got there try following a series of forward carries that forced Wellington on the back foot and allowed Owen Sibert to force his way over. A mistake from the kick off saw Wellington score again but Dulwich pressed and pressed following an outstanding break from Tom Jerman who excellent all afternoon. Sadly the boys couldn’t quite get over the line for a score they deserved. An excellent effort from the boys. If they can make sure they all get to training this week, Epsom should be a great game next week.
