U14Cs vs Epsom College (A)

Initially, Epsom took the advantage scoring three quick tries before the boys managed to shake off the bus journey. After a hard look at themselves, the U14Cs began to compete at the breakdown and slowly the momentum of the game started to change. The Dulwich boys then crossed the line only for touch judge to call them back for a lineout. However, it was not long before the boys crossed the line again to leave the score at 21-7.

In the second half, the Dulwich boys played downhill and competed well at the breakdown. The back line then started to run onto the ball at pace and were able exploit the wider channels. Oscar Brown, ran in his second try of the game and then set up Arran Dove to score in the corner; James Hankins kick two splendid conversions. Aaron Lowry-Beardsley then crossed the line making the score 21-26 to Dulwich. Sadly, last minute heartbreak saw a loose ball collected by an Epsom wing who ran the length of the pitch to score in the last play of the game. The boys should be immensely proud of their efforts. They worked hard as a team to turn the game around, only to cruelly lose out in the dying seconds.
