Match Report
Dulwich College U14B vs  Harrow School
On: Saturday, 22 Sep 2018
Venue: at Home

The rain finally decided to show up and we had some proper old rugby weather down at Trevor Bailey for the visit of Harrow. Dulwich started the game by keeping the ball tight using thefirarad runners to great effect. Harrow has more pace and looked to move the ball at every opportunity scoring two excellent tries despite Dulwich trying their best to hold them at bay. Orson Steel finally got Dulwich on the score sheet just before half time with a lung bursting run from inside his own half. Max converted and it appeared that it was game on. Harrow struck back immediately from the kick off though leaving Dulwich trailing 21-7 at half time. The second half started in the worst possible fashion with Harrow scoring directly from the kick off. From that point forward though the Dulwich forwards grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck with some powerful driving play that saw Oli A crash over for a score. Harrow broke again but Dulwich hit back with Owen S finishing an excellent pick and go routine from close to the post. It was fitting that Harrow had the last day with another long range effort. They deserved the win but Dulwich will be kicking themselves at the fact that they didn’t quite believe in themselves enough and deep down will know that this was one that got away from them.
