Match Report
Dulwich College U15B vs  St John's School, Leatherhead
On: Saturday, 19 Jan 2019
Venue: at Home

The U15 B’s produced a performance that they should be very proud of following last weeks tough game against Hampton. The back four looked extremely solid and on a difficult pitch, the midfield battled hard to get the ball down and play with pace and width. The boys stuck the task in tight first half with few clear cut chances being created. The second half opened up as tired legs created space and Dulwich created 4 or 5 very good chances as they played the better football. At 0-0 there is always a chance that all of that pressure won’t lead to anything, whilst the opposition stuck manfully to their task in the hope that their moment would come. It did, Dulwich didn’t quite attack the ball form the corner kick and after a couple of bobbles, it was poked home by the centre forward. With 10 minutes left Dulwich there everything at St John’s but a number of first class saves and some brave defending meant that the chance to equalise never quite bore fruit. The boys should be immensely proud of the hunger, desire and quality that they showed. Thank you all the parents who showed up and supported. We now look forward to next week, training hard and doing our best.
