Match Report
Dulwich College U14B vs  Hampton School
On: Saturday, 12 Jan 2019
Venue: at Home

After a very productive week of pre-season training, this group of boys were eager to demonstrate their individual and collective ability on the pitch against a strong Hampton team.

The away team dominated early on, winning most of the first and second balls in the air and on the ground. This led to them finding ways for their impressive striker to have numerous efforts on goal. He subsequently netted two goals before half-time and Dulwich looked under the cosh.

With all players experimenting in various positions, a quick re-jig allowed Oraka to drop back slightly more and cause problems for the opposition defence, opening up space for Jerman to roam free. Dulwich piled on the pressure and worked extremely hard to earn two goals, getting right back into the game.

As the home side pushed for a winner with Ghabadamosi working tirelessly in the midfield, Hampton were able to break on the counter in the final five minutes of the game and score two more well-finished goals, leaving the score 4-2 to Hampton in the end.

The squad have set a brilliant platform from which to improve upon as the season develops.
